The Group Shot
February 5, 2010I was doing some product images for my cousin, and was able to get some adorable images from the boys, even though two of them are in the under two crowd. Then the famous last words: “Hey guys, let’s get them all together for a group shot”. Here is a pictorial of the unraveling of the session. Guess which ones are my favorites? Yep, the ones that show how they really are: squirmy, cranky, and wild!
Chocolate Chip Pancakes
January 26, 2010Jake is the big breakfast maker in our house. His Saturday morning eggs and bacon are one of the best reasons to get up in the morning. And, on really good days, he makes us chocolate chip pancakes. They are my favorites, and the kids love them, too!
Marker Boy
January 23, 2010So….ever wonder what happens when you put a two year old down for a nap after he has somehow managed to smuggle a marker into his room? Thank goodness it was only his arms! Of course, Jake caught him while still drawing, so who knows what artistry another 15 minutes might have provided.

December 19, 2009Photographer’s children are like cobbler’s children in that they never have any shoes, er, portraits. The wonderfully talented Bailey Eaves agreed to do pictures of my gruesome twosome. We had a great time in Decatur, and I think the final images really show it!
